Anyone have a preference on cabinet carcasses material? Also what are you using for painted doors and face framing?

I use 3/4” ply and if I paint the cabinets I use poplar for the face frames and doors. Hope I answered your questions.

Carcass is 3/4” maple plywood Combo core.

Face frame, door, drawer rails and stiles, soft maple.

I make the drawer panels raised or reverse raised, depending on the style. Doors are flat panel (I prefer reversed raised) or raised panel. Material is 1/4” maple ply for flat panels, 1/2” maple ply for reversed raised, glue up for raised.
