The receptionist where I work has a side-gig baking cakes. Birthdays, weddings, graduations, etc.
She asked me the other day if I could make her a simple white box, 3 sided with a bottom, 20" cube. "Sure, no problem" I said.
This is the result. White Melamine with 6mm Dominos and some Clamex connectors, so it could be knock-down.
She loved it, but the first thing she says is "So elaborate?" The office manager is looking on and says "Really? do you not realize who you asked?" LOL
The thing is, it really doesn't take that long with all of the equipment I have at my disposal. The beam saw and edgebander make the DF500 and Lamello Zeta seem cheap. That's probably the most expensively built freebie ever made.  [eek]

You should have also given her a miniature box when you made this one.  When she asked about it, you could explain it would be to protect the single cupcake that you hopes she starts bringing you on a regular basis.
