Can't upload photos from a Droid Incredible

On my Incredible a normal photo at the highest resolution is around 2mb.  That's too big to upload here (that's why the site freezes.. it probably times-out).

I would recommend you lower your resolution significantly if you want to upload.

Also, do a Droid Market search for "PicSay".  It's a free and allows you to resize and add labels to photos in your phone.  Think of it as sort of Photoshop-lite, for a Droid.

Thanks Robert.  Now I need to figure out how to do it...have a tone of pics of on site domino work, been using the heck out of it on cabinet installations and want to share.

You betcha.

Here's a quick overview page of PicSay:

And, here's a photo I did this morning.
Raw photo on my Droid, approx 1.25Mb (8mp; 3264x1952 resolution).
Uploaded PicSay photo: 149kb    (1147x686 resolution).  Took about 20 seconds to 'edit' the picture.

Cheers

PS:  I have the free version, but the Pro version has some super-schnazzy features.

HI Jon,

if you dont mind uploading your pictures to any PC, you could use the open source tool "XNVIEW" from XNView homepage
This softare acts as a picture viewer, but has a powerfull batch engine, which allows picture to be modified in lots of ways.
If you like so, I can provide you with a small script, which you could load and execute in XNVIEW to reduce the size of your pictures, without loosing much quality.

kind regards, Mike
