So as my collections growers I just acquired a Laguna LT 18 3000, first bandsaw and I think I will love it, but I have a wheel concern I was hoping someon could provide me with some guidance on.

Yep bolts, too short, so I flipped the leveler and thought I was good until I could find the correct size. I'm concerned about the gap/tilt of each caster. I may have not put them on the tightest as I didn't have a crescent large enough for the big caster plate, but I did get em what I thought was fairly tight.  The threaded portion is at the top of the plate and the two sides is all that rest on the plate of the caster, is that the way they are supposed to be? Did i need to add support? Is my brand new saw likely to fall if I don't fix asap? Not sure where I went wrong but it doesn't look good or safe the way it sits, thanks in advance for any tips.

Ps I feel like a moron asking the dumbest shop question in the world. This is my first time using stem casters into metal.

It definitely looks a bit wonky so I'd recommend being careful in how you use it.  I would not resaw anything big.  Bandsaws aren't particularly top heavy but they are tall machines with a small footprint.

Can I ask why you elected to go with casters instead of their European style mobility kit?  I have it on my Laguna LT18 and love it.  At $149, it's a bargain in my opinion.

I've attached casters in a similar manner.  What I did saw cut a triangular piece of 1/4" aluminum and placed it on top of the caster.  It will act as a bridge and not let the caster tip inward.

Yeah, I called the company I purchased them from today, and I think I need to make either a wedge out of hardwood to fully support it underneath, or I like your triangle idea, did you weld them on? ... Frustrating when things don't do as planned. I chose not to use the Laguna mobility kit as I did not like the idea of two hard plastic wheels and to feet being the sport, I prefer rubber to assist with stability and vibration. And the tripod thing was ... Eghhhh.... To me. These casters with leveling feet seemed the way to go, and where not cheep... Just a tad more than the mobility kit. But now I may have wished I want with the mobility kit, u till I find a solution I'm happy with and put into place, thanks for the ideas guys
