Bought the Collins coping foot the other week and used today for the first time on my mates 18v Carvex. I own the 240...240 is going 18v is getting bought.
I thought the coping foot was brilliant! Only used it to do some scribes on some oak 120 x 20mm with a 3mm chamfer on it. I also had to scribe in some architrave as the lining to close to the wall, used the trusted long point brass compass and then the 18v carvex with foot. Went in first time with zero block planing, so easy to use and the cut is brilliant. Watched Gary Katz videos a while ago and he made it look to easy...turns out it was!
Didn't think my festool addiction would stretch to 18v, however, T+18, C basic, SDS and very soon to be Carvex 18v. I normally shift my used goods on eBay, I may just have to try Fogs classified. Coping saw always used to annoy me in my Stanley tote!!!
