Carvex Accessories

I'm new to this forum. Very interesting so far !
I've just purchased the Carvex 420 cordless and decided to buy the accessory kit as well.
In the kit you get 5 replacement felt pads but you don't get the stickfix base that they go on.
Am I missing something here?

First,   [welcome] to the forum.  Over here in North America we don't have the Carvex 420 yet, but our most recent catalog has the accessory kit in it.  The version we will get will not have the base nor the felt pads.  Perhaps that is the case for you also but somehow you got the pads by mistake.  I believe the part number for the base is 497 301.

I just checked the Festool.AU website and found no description.

The Festool UK website shows this:

but no description of what the bases are, etc.  Sorry I couldn't help more.  I am sure someone will be able to get the answer for you.

Welcome . The stick fix base isnt ' sticky ' it has tiny hooks like velcro to hold the pad in place , will dig mine out and post a pic if that helps .
