Carvex Battery Help Please :)

Dear friends,

It appears the 18v 4.2a lithium ion battery that came with my Carvex is dead.

The 4.2a batteries (499849) don't seem generally available but the 5.2a (500531) is.

Can I buy the 500531 as an alternative?

I would contact Festool and check to see if warranty coverage is available based on the age of your tool first.  The batteries are also warranted.

The 5.2 ah batteries are the newest version to replace the 4.2.  They will work in your Carvex.  Also, Festool batteries are covered by the three year warranty; so if your old batteries are less than that call Festool first.
