Having just ordered a Carvex PSC420 I need some blades but notice the Festool website isn't much help.
In the main I'm cutting veneered chipboard and some veneered MDF panels for bedrooms and offices.

At the moment I use Bosch T101BR down cut blades, anyone know if Festool do a Carvex down-cut blade that's similar to the Bosch?

Also I'm going to try cutting a bit more from underneath the laminated panels as I would with coping a skirting so any suggestions for a good smooth cutting blade that will cut from underneath with laminated panels?

Thanks. :-)

Just looked now thanks Shane.
Do you know if the different Carvex FSG blades are actually pretty much the same blades...just different lengths? Specifically I mean the S75/4 FSG and S105/4 FSG, they certainly look the same.
Also I can't see a Carvex downcutter? I thought I read somewhere the Carvex blades were slightly thicker.

Thanks.

Yes. Those FSG are the same blade other than length. The Carvex blades are a thicker blade.

Festool doesn't have a downcut blade.

Thanks Shane.
I thought I'd seen a Festool down-cutting blade in the past, must of been mistaken.

I think festool assumes the splinter guard means there is no need for a downcut blade.

If I want clean/accurate cuts, I hold my jigsaw upside down. I'm sure you've thought of that already, maybe it doesn't apply to your situation. I will say that bosch makes very comparable blades to festool.
