Decided to upgrade to the P1cc. Question about blades for Mafell users. How much better if at all is the function of Mafell blades in their machine? Just trying to decide whether to work through the rest of my Carvex blade stock on the new machine, or immediately tool up on the Mafell blades. I use my jigsaw most for detailed, tight curve cutting, though this coming weekend I'll be prettifying some already installed rafter tails for a shed extension I'm building.

Edward, I usually use the Trion 204316 & 204327 blades in the Mafell as they are actually thicker than the normal Mafell blades, 2.04 mm vs 1.70 mm. The only Mafell blade that's a necessity to purchase is the W1 blade and it's 2.98 mm thick. It's like 2 Mafell blades silver soldered together and then back-beveled to allow for some large radius cutting. It's slow going though because of the wide kerf but perfect for those absolutely perpendicular cuts although the Trion blades work extremely well if you don't push them.
