Carvex Circle Cutter Replacement Part Available?

Is the black plastic piece (circled in red) that attaches to the guide rail adapter available as a replacement part? I broke the tab off of one side of mine today. The other side still works but would like to get it back to new if possible. THANKS.

Hmm, since it's connected to the tape with rivets, I'm not sure. I'll have to check with the service guys and get back to you.

Appreciate it Shane. Maybe I can send it in for a re-rivet with a new part----?!

So, I checked with the service department this morning and that part, nor the entire metal tape, are a replacement part unfortunately. Sorry.

So admittedly I am very new to these tools and their usage, perhaps I was over zealous with the jigsaw. Let me just say that the circle cutter is a pressure fit to the guide rail base, no locking mechanism, so it can fall off the bottom if you are not careful. And, if perhaps a piece of wood falls on top of it on the floor, the small plastic tabs may break!  :

It does make a nice circle though---
