Carvex shipping date.........

Well, as we all know Festool has set the selling/shipping date for the Carvex for September 1. Sounds good, it's the first day of the month, easy to remember and has a nice ring to it.
Trouble in Kansas is that September 1 is a Sunday and Monday Sept 2 is Labor Day - NO SHIPPING.

 Ok, Bob so what? Ship the Carvex on Friday, August 30th to get it goin' out. Problema is that (selling/shipping) prior to September 1 is prohibited per Festool policy.

Ok, that offers opportunities for some dealers who are open September 1, but limits many on-line only dealers. Sooooo, what I am going to do to mitigate (to a degree) the issue is offer free 2 Day UPS delivery on all Carvex saws and accessories. For those wishing UPS Overnight Delivery, the charge will be 25.00. I think that's pretty fair and should lessen the pain.
Here's hoping Festool's next major tool launch won't be on December 25. ;D

Umm...I'm pretty sure Oct 1 is the beginning of the 4th quarter.  I've counted 3-4 different ways and that's the answer I keep coming up with.  [poke]

Unless the 4th quarter starts in December, as is often the case...

Different people have different ideas of how to break up the year into quarters.
