Hi
I don't know whether its me being a newbie to Festool , however installing a jig saw blade on my new carved is a challenge . Its really hit or miss as to whether i can get it to fit properly
  Is there any suggestions or advice anyone can offer.

Sorry to hear about your issues.

What specific blade(s) are you using?

There is a known issue with the older gold colored Festool "Trion" blades. These blades have the word "Trion" written on them and they are slightly too broad to fit into the Carvex without some effort.

The rest of our blades should be fine and the Trion blade was replaced with a newer Carvex blade.

ya i had some issues to with bosch T style blades as well. sometimes they slide in with no fuss other times its what tha heck why is it soo hard to mount in this hole
