Cedar/Glulam by Me

------ edited txt added -----

I designed it so the bottom row of tiles did not have a kick they are just straight and customised the gable end plastic so that it ran straight with no kick joint so I was able to avoid sticking a small triangle piece on the cedar barge board!  And then once the guttering it fixed the  grey plastic end goes half way into the guttering so all water will still travel into the guttering.  I had to do a bit of cutting and notching to get this to work!

the fascia is sweet. great work. cant see the joint, ever blown up to 400%.

man youve got those builder whiped

The cedar looks great, I don't see the joint either.
The miters look perfect also, that must have been tricky.

What's going under the eve's to cover the blocking?

Great job getting the contractor hooked on Festool  [big grin]
The GC I was working with last loved the TS75 and CT22 I was using, till I told them the price, I tried explaining but they could not get passed the cost  [unsure]

Cheers!

They where a little messing about but that's why I love cedar with a sharp block plane it's easy stuff to remove material.

The soffit is going to have T&G board underneath the eve's and is going to  flow with the curve on the front  also part of the existing building is going to be covered in T&G and the exposed block work on the new extension.

The builder wanted all the soffit doing a while ago but it told him I ain't doing it until the scaffold was down this was discussed  months ago.  Now the scaffold has come down last week I gotta do the soffit now DAM IT lol need more time! Lol. Any way I'm working on that job Friday and sat.
