Fairly new to Festool here. My main question is this... Is everything in the Installers Set for sale individually in the event pieces are lost or worn out?

Thanks,
Chance

Most of the pieces are available separately, but not everything. Specifically, the square drives are not available individually.

Interesting information on the Square Drive bits. I just bought the set and it hasn't even arrived yet but those bits were one of the reasons.

If I did want to purchase other Square Drives are they available from a third party?

Another question since I haven't received my set yet, what other items should I add to it? I just purchased my first Festool drill and so I don't have any Festool accessories for it yet.

Snappy has the square drive bits. I'd give a link but my internet is being slow and stupid.

Do you mean replacement for the Imperial version of the Centrotec Installer Set?

That includes wonderful brad-point drill bits 1/8", 1/4"....1/2".  I haven't found replacements for these.  Festool used to offer the Imperial Centrotec Wood Bits Set 496942, which I presume were the same, but that set dissappeared in 2014.  And I don't think the individual drill bits, say 1/2" centrotec, have ever been offered singly.  I hope I'm wrong...

Snappy offers Centrotec imperial options for 1/4" and smaller.  Nice for pilot holes.

JimSpence,

Kind of... I believe the imperial brad point drill bits would be what I replace the most. That is at least what I replace the most out of my current Dewalt/Irwin sets. My main concern is, I am spending $300 for a set that I may or may not be able to buy replacement pieces to continue and have a FULL set after pieces are lost or worn.

If I need a 3/8" brad point bit because some knucklehead misplaced it, I would like to order only that piece.

The bits do have part numbers, and are listed as replacement parts. Part number for the 3/8" is 478317.
