I know this is extravagant and totally unnecessary, but hey, they don't call it a wish list for nothing: a pencil sharpener attachment with the centrotrec standard.  I would buy it, because the cheap throwaway plastic ones get bent very quickly, after which it's impossible to get a sharp point.  With the sensitive variable speed and the zero runout of the Festool drills, this accessory would produce a perfectly sharpened pencil.

Here's an example of the plastic one:  http://www.notcot.com/archives/2011/03/drill-powered-pencil-sharpener.php

Maybe this could be like a promo offer/gift or something, like what they do with the hats and t-shirts.

I always used to put the pencil in the drill and use a normal sharpener.  Nowadays I mostly have a centrotec chuck on, so the process would be less quick.

Give me a centrotec sharpener though! [big grin]

I'll only buy one of there's a dust collection attachment, or else the chips will be flying everywhere.

My definition of a clean shop is one where I sharpen my pencils over a garbage can instead of just wherever.

Alex, your comment about dust collection made me laugh out loud. Chris' followup comment was also amusing. :D

I just use mechanical pencils, a lot easier.  I use the .09 lead and they hold yp quite well.  I get a big pack from target and they will last 6mo to a year.  Plus they are brightly colored!
