Changing CMS modules

i have absolutely no interest in seeing yet more stuff that i can not buy........ [crying] [crying] [crying] [crying]

nice setup even if i can not have it [smile]

    Sorry Tallgrass,maybe one day eh.........

To clarify,I meant this post for those thinking of getting the CMS [those NINA].Obviously it's nice to have the tools installed and ready in the modules. At first swapping seems a bit clumsy but after a while becomes easy.

You'll notice I don't have the dust/ex riving knife in the saw.Every time I put it on the next job needs it to revert back.....

no.... your post served its purpose......i just cant get it here in the states.:( and it always just gets me mad. [crying] [crying] [crying]

Thanks, it looks exactly like something I would purchase and use.  [smile]

( [mad] If only those Yahoos who need to give their approval to bring this well designed and safe system into the USA and Canada would only get their collective heads out of the sand  [mad]).

Great system for the small home shop that is tight on space.... I what one NOW [scared] please [embarassed]

Nice set up Nigle looks the same as mine is that an OF2000 in the router table

Hello Meatman,

No,I only have the of 1400.I expect the of 2000/2200 is fantastic in the CMS but at a price.......

Bonjour Nigel,

I see you are in the south of France, lucky you, you have sunshine... I'm in Paris outskirt :)

I just bought a used CMS GE in good condition and the TS55 adapter and I am very happy with the quality and ease of change.

I am in the process of finding a good price for the sliding table with I believe will take me to an even better precision and ease of work. Do you have this add-on to your CMS and can you give me your opinion on this choice (I see on the video that you have the extension table).

A bientot

Bonjour Yverof,

Paris eh,that's almost English style weather!
.
Yes,I do have the sliding table[you can just about see it in the video] and can highly recommend it.If I was to choose between that and the extension table the slider would win easily. It takes 2 seconds to attach and is very lightweight and accurate. My favorite Festool accessory in fact.Coupled with the MFT fence and flipstop you can quickly cut even longish multiple pieces perfectly to length.

Good luck finding a good deal.

Salutations,

Nigel.

Wow, so speedy and simple.

Thanks for raising interest in a product that maybe one day we'll see here, lol  ;)

Truly is pretty awesome to see the ease of use.  Keeping both tools or all tools to be used with the CMS on a "module" seems the way to do it rather than attaching and reattaching.  Spend the bucks and the swap is clean and quick!
