Hi - first time poster here. I've got a combination of classic and T-Loc systainers and would like to swap out the older versions and purchase replacements. I am struggling to find the systainer product codes for the RTS400 and ETS125 sanders and wondered if there was a way of finding this information somewhere online.

Many thanks,

Mike

Ps apologies if this question is already covered on another thread!

Thanks squall_line - I'm looking for the case sizes (I'm assuming the inserts will swap out of the classics into the T-Locs)

Both of those came in what were called Sys2.  In the newest generation of T-Locs (called Sys3, “M” for regular width), they come in a M187 (204842), which is slightly taller than an older Sys2.

FWIW...the inserts will swap out between the different styles but usually some minor modification to the insert needs to be performed.

Many thanks squall_line, live4ever and Chesese - great advice and has helped me out no end!

Cheers,

Mike

Yeah you usually have to cut a few corners of the inlay. Might want to rotate it 180 degrees in some cases too.

I took my PS 300 inlay and modified it to fit in Systainer T-Loc 2 DF as seen here;https://www.festoolownersgroup.com/...ners/show-your-systainer/msg632691/#msg632691

RTS 400 shipped in Systainer classic I before T-Loc arrived. Even in (early?) T-Loc era it shipped in T-Loc 1. Now it ships in Sys3 M187, 71% larger, because... well nobody knows. It's just a waste of space, just like the sandpaper insert where now only five stacks of 80x133 fit in it instead of six.

A few of my older Festool tools had the "Classic" Systainers and I did a replacement with whatever current size was the same height or slightly larger if necessary and then modified the original inserts to slip in with some small "slicing and dicing".
