I need some cheap track to cut to odd lengths for one-time use.

Doesn’t need to be nice, just functional and cheap.

What fits and is cheaper than Makita track?

give TRITON track a try - our GRS_16 fits on them, too.
they're a copy of Makita from the looks of our TRITON sample

Don't know about the cheapest that fit, but keep in mind that Festool saws DO NOT fit on Grizzly/ShopFox/Scheppach rails. The guide rib and the rail itself are a bit too wide.
You could make one from plywood.

Good tip Hans, but won‘t be useful in this case.

Looks like WEN track is the most for the least but Svar’s plywood track is still an option.

If you want an edge guide, I used to use a Bora Edge Guide before I bought my TS55 and Festool tracks.
