Check out this piece of wood

I have this piece in my collection. The original owner bought it for a gun stock. The only idea I have had for it is to face the drawers of a lingerie chest. But then I thought pallet stock would look good on one of those. What do you guys think?

Nice piece you have there , save it for a rainy day , or resaw it so it last .  One thing about wood I've learned is, just when you think you found that awesome piece another one comes along even better .
