EDIT: my apology for this post - Imshould have read the heading more carefully, just seeing it "storage for chisels" and not "sustainer storage".

Those vintage Stanley chisels are beautiful. And the "storage box" they're in isn't too shabby either.  [smile]

Love the divot in the lid & front for opening. [thumbs up]

[member=4358]derekcohen[/member] - one set for each of the grandkids?  That's what I'm hoping will happen to my chisels when they finally have to pry them out of my fingers.  Unfortunately, the number of grandkids continues to grow.

Those are some great ideas.

[member=20220]Mr_Mod[/member] I like your idea well done

I cant take credit for these, i saw them listed on eBay some time ago and thought that was a cool idea.

Hi, I am the person who made the systainer insert for the chissles with the blue handles in the photos. I made an insert for hole saws and Forstner bits also, one of the photos here show all three together. I made three extra of each insert to see if there was a demand for these inserts. I tried to sell them on eBay and etsy but hard to sell at my asking price of 70.00 and free shipping. I kept dropping the price until they were all gone and finished my market test. Nobody (almost) will pay more then 20 bucks for it. You never know if you don't try. I love the inserts and hope the people who bought them like them too.    Thanks, Scott

Scott,

You did a great job in the inserts, I came across the pictures that i posted doing a google search. I even search Ebay and had no luck finding a place to buy them.
