Christmas Wine Glass Displays

Came across this design on drunkenwoodworker and decided to make a few for small xmas pressies, quite simple and effective I think.[attachthumb=1]

My sister in law then asked if I could make some that hold more glasses, I had a quick look online and found most that held 4 glasses were just square blocks so decided to have a crack at something a bit different and knocked one of these up earlier today.

I like it.

Only suggestion I have is maybe a slightly larger chamfer in the final resting spot for the glasses, so it requires a slight lift to remove them?

I like the idea of larger chamfer for the glasses, will give that a go on one of the next ones.
Size wise on the holes, I initially used a 16mm for glasses and 32mm for the bottle and found that whilst this worked on some bottles and glasses, I found some bottles and glasses that were tight in these so on others I've been making I've upped the sizes to 18mm and 35mm.

Cool idea.  From the pictures they look to be about 19mm thick.  Have you considered a thickness in the 13mm to 16mm range for a lighter look?
