Hello everyone. Below are some photos of my $12.00 circle jig. Firstly, I would like to thank Jim Kirkpatrick, also a Fogger, for the idea. I bought 2 steel rods size 5/16" x 36" at home depot. I then used the knob from the edge guide as the pivot point. Fits perfectly with a few washers to alter the distance it sticks out underneath. Now I can cut 4' circles for my project.
Thought I would share.

Just tried a 20" circle on MDF and it worked like a charm. Now I'm going to try a 4' circle on 1" thick ply. ( 2 - 1/2" sheets at the same time ). Photos to follow.
Cheers,
JC

Here are photos of cutting out a 4' circle. It turned out perfect. Sorry photos are a little out of focus. Iphone's fault.

So I needed to remove 1/8" from the top of my work piece so I would have a 13" wide circle depression for a lazy susan bearing. Thought about going out and buying the extended base but then a light bulb went off in my head. Why not try the new rods I bought in conjunction with the stabilizer on the router base. Worked like a charm. Now I have an adjustable base for my router. It's amazing how far you can stretch $12.00.
Cheers,
JC
