Great! Just the other day I was trying to do work that this would likely have made easier.
 
Yes, I think that is a question we can all ask ourselves, "Why didn't I think of that?" I certainly have thought it was needed accessory during the short time I've owned my tools.
 
Apparently 3M Command Strips work very well for attaching a rail temporarily to vertical and overhead surfaces (and I guess horizontal too if you wanted a little extra hold). Not something I've personally tried, but useful to have at the back of your mind for those inevitable "once in a lifetime" awkward requirements...
 
A lovely simple idea that I am sure will be copied the world over - many thanks for sharing this.

My idea is certainly for free, so go ahead and copy it. A reasonable "charge" would be for you to post a pic of your version in this thread. That way there is room for improvements.  [big grin]
