Clamp Racks

Several months back I bought a bunch of smaller Bessey clamps when they went on sale before Father's day (4 pack for $15).

I've also bought 4 50" Bessey Parallel Clamps and needed a place to store them.

Here is the storage solution that I came up with.  I'm now crossing my fingers that the Bessey KRE Clamps go on sale around Black Friday.

Well done!  My clamps have multiplied in the last year!  Going up high on the wall is the only way I can hope to get them back under control!  Nice, simple solution you created!

I actually got my design from Jay Bates so all credit is owed to him.  I was "extra careful" to measure the spacing from the ceiling to the top of the clamp rack - unfortunately I forgot that I had made a 2 degree bevel on the top to help prevent the clamps from getting knocked off.  I measured from the back of the clamps to the ceiling so it's actually quite a tight fit to get the clamps in. I should have measured from the front of the clamp rack or just lowered the rack a little.
