Clamping Elements ( 488 030 ) for MFT

I have been using these on a cabinet door setup I recently made and have found on two of the four,
I have been getting some nicks in the slide that prevent me from easy opening of the clamp.
I am wondering am I doing something wrong or is it he clamps.
Maybe someone can help me out on this

Unfortunately common occurrence.  Don't let it dissuade you from the awesomeness of the clamping elements.

So is it a bad batch or just soft metal and this is to be expected, some say older ones haven't done this, mine are about a year old and do it on every use,
I keep a jewelers file in the box now to file down the burr. This can't be the answer

I have an older set, no problems at all.  You can always call Festool, they're very professional and super helpful guys. [thumbs up]

I just bought a set.  They slide like crap.  Darn shame for $100.

I thought maybe they'd get a bit smoother with use - sucks to find out they're gonna get worse.
