Lee Valley and Woodcraft have T-Loc latches in a variety of colors and I've seen "locking latches" for the classic Systainers in green and gray at a number of Festool vendors, but so far I've struck out on red. Wondering if anyone knows of a source before I break out the paint can?

Maybe, hang on to your paint can for a bit.

Contact Franck Tetreau (Tanos rep)  email at  franck.tetreau@tanosus.com

Pretty sure he has some red Classic latches available.

I'm missing a couple of the white ones I think - I looked on ebay and a seller has them, not in white, but in several other colors including red.  Whether it's the same red you want I don't know.

I am pretty sure there has only been one red unless a different one was made for a particular brand. Carmine Red RAL3002 is the color ID.

And based on ebay user ID spelling I would bet that the ebay seller is Franck Tetreau  [wink]

I bought red ones from Frank some years ago, dunno if they are still available.  Bought them for the sys drawers that house my 12v Milwaukees.

I have four or possibly six to eight latches in "classic" red to donate should you still need them.

They come from old Mafell Classic systainers. Unused.  PM me and I will happily send them off to you. I could donate a whole Classic Systainer though I think shipping would be a bit much as I will be shipping from Sweden.

The latches I can slip in a Jiffy bag and have them sent out no problem. :)

EDIT: I was honestly just about to toss out the old latches as I am rummaging through old boxes and I have no use for the Classic Systainer either though I might turn it into a First Aid Kit Sys for the Shop. Then I would need two of the red latches.
