Classic Sys 2 with Attic

Well I picked up a Sys 2 with Attic and I switched over my Domino to it . Its great, the Domino insert fit fine and I use the attic to store the Domino bits and other items.
This might have been a good idea from Festool right from the start  [wink]

The attic versions were not available then.  I think that the first tool over here shipped in the attic sys was the T-15+3.

Just saying that to me this was a good idea ( patting myself on the back ) I will sa though it has made things easier and neater in the systainer

I dunno.....hearing the stories about the attic opening I wouldn't want a hundred dollars in cutters up there.

The domino insert works great for me.

I could see doing this with the new T-Loc attic Systainer, when it arrives stateside.  That locks up nice and securely.  I've had the "classic" attic come open at inopportune moments.

Well so far no problems butit is new, the good thing it stays in the shop and not used on site at all
But I will keep the advise in mind

I'll attest to the Tloc attic being very secure.  I have my rotozip in one.

T loc with attic currently not available if you follow that link!  Any ETA on the new systainers by themselves for NA? I got the CXS drill and already like the T loc much better.
