Was looking at these:
http://www.dyson.com/tools/t/tangle-free-turbine-tool/tangle-free-turbine-tool.aspx
http://www.festoolusa.com/products/dust-extractors/floor-nozzles/turbo-suction-brush-450644.html

Dyson is less expensive and appears to have some sort of technology that is supposed to prevent tangling.
I'm trying to clean up an area inside the house on carpet and someone in the house has been known to shed long hair (and its not a pet!)

Anyone have any feedback/ideas?
I saw some older posts that showed the Festool turbo brush in action, looks pretty cool as long as you have the 36diameter hose hooked up (and your wand is ~36 too).

I've never used the Dyson thingy, but it looks interesting. Might be a bit small for carpet, though.
I have the Festool Turbo brush, (without the Festool name on it, saved me over $100) and it is very good. Picks up dog hair from the carpet with ease. It fits both the 27 and 36 hose, so not sure why they say it requires the 36. I use it with my CT22 and my Dyson house vac.

Saw that here too, Festool sells the thing for €129 while my local vac shop sells the exact same thing unbranded for €39.

I believe it needs the greater airflow that the 36mm hose provides to spin fast enough under load (use) to be effective.
