I¨m getting more knoowedgable about the CTM 36 HD. I've found it for a quite good price, For me not the critical if I get the autoclean in a vac as I mostly won't be using it but you don't have to use it. There is a manual function so Auto function can be set to off.
There are some things that could be pluses or minus with model depending on how you look at it.
First off and one reason why I think its a good choice is it comes with the 36mm 32mm hose which I would need to buy as an extra expense if I got plain CTM 36 which comes with 27mm hose as standard. I would be using the vac together with the OF2200 and TS75and with these it's recommended to get the larger dimensioned hose. I could for example just extend the hose to five meters later if I felt it was needed. To bad they don't offer a sleeved 36mm hose..
I like the low profile on the CTM 36 HD it would be easier place under the MFT 3 or other table..The hoses I would keep in a systainer on the systole.
One disadvantage with the CTM 35 HD is that its ergonomically a little low for pulling around, and you can't use the handy accessory handle available for the other CT models..
The rugged wheels on the CTM 36 HD are also some that I would like as I run around town with the gear and roll the things over up to a kilometer to one of my jobs..
Auto Clean is not something I'd use that much but for some of the fine paint dusts, oak dusts and beech dusts it might come in handy..
For clean up with fine dusts though AutoClean will be a welcome feature..
So the only thing it's missing is the hose storage, accessory handle, both of which I can live without.
Edited: I noticed that there is a protool version of this Vac.. So that explains some of the differences in the HD design compared to the other CT models..
