ART at WORK said:
Hallo Foggers,
I have just done a little video about my new Clearveu Mini Cyclone CV 06.
My idea was to see how it worked under "normal" as well as "extrem" conditions.
These are just my personal findings and I would be happy to hear from others about their Cyclone experiences.
Really good review, thanks, although not too convinced by the product, looks like its about 70% efficient at best, sure seemed like a lot of dust in your bag compared to some other demos I have seen such as the Oneida. I do wonder about the difuser design, would have made more sense to have a longer centre column that goes through the diffuser plate. I hear what you say re making it more compact, but they could do it as a screw on element which you could assemble, there is enough room to pack inside the buckets
Yes im also not so convinced by the amount of dust in the filter bag in comparison to the other cyclone vidios Ive seen on Youtube. I also sent Clear Veu the suggestion to continue the clean air exit pipe through the defuser plate and take the air back from the middle of the bucket. Havent heard back from them yet. But Im not sure if it isnt important for the seperation to have the 2 columns of air passing oneanother. Any fluid enginiers out there who know this stuff?
So lets see what we can come up with to improve the design and get around the patent problem.
