Background:
In the thread: http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-jigs-tool-enhancements/template-for-attachments-to-the-lid-of-a-t-loc-systainer/ , I showed how to make an attachment to secure to the lid of a T-loc systainer.
Towards the end of the thread: http://festoolownersgroup.com/fun-games-diversions/enter-to-win-a-rotex-ro-90-dx-or-workcenter-wcr-1000!/90/ in reply #95, I posted a picture of a removable clipboard that I made to fit onto the lid of my granddaughter Isla’s T-loc systainer thoat she is using as her jewellery making “factory”.
Today, I designed a different clipboard for in the “office/computer/camera use” systainer that I am in the process of transferring from a classic systainer 3 to a T-loc systainer 2. The tread: http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-jigs-tool-enhancements/carry-on-systainer-for-officecomputercamera-use/ describes the customization of the old systainer.
Foreground: [smile]
Both clipboards and lid bases are made with Baltic Birch plywood.
Here are two photos of clipboard #1 (the one in Isla’s systainer):
[attachimg=#1] [attachimg=#2]
The clipboard is held to the lid with two big squares of Velcro tape. The clip was purchased from Lee Valley.
Here are two photos of clipboard #2 (the one in my systainer):
[attachimg=#3] [attachimg=#4]
The clipboard slides into a groove in the sides and the bottom and there is storage behind the board for pads of paper, catalogues, pens, whatever. The clip was purchased from Rockler.
