Closeout Deal on C18 and T18 drills ,sale ends Wed 17 Jun 2020

Just got an email from Toolnut about a closeout deal on T18 and C18 drills , the blue tooth 3.1 Ah sets. Sale ends Wednesday 17 Jun 2020.  Why are these being discontinued? What is replacing these?

From what I can tell, it's only the batteries.  The newer 4ah batteries in a smaller form factor.
