CMS-OF and OF 1400 turret

Hello all.  How do you orient your height turret on OF 1400 when its inserted into CMS-OF to get maximum travel for the height adjustment?  I tried few different positions and it seems to get in the way and limiting the full travel.

If I remember right... on my OF 1400 I screwed down the small screw in the lowest of 3 in the turret a bit more. It didn't allow full travel as it was straight from the factory.

In the CMS OF.. I don't use the turret at all. I just set it at the max depth, adjust from up top, then lock with the big knob underneath.

Thank you.  So you removed the turret completely with cms of?

No, I just put it in the position that allows max. depth.

You can adjust all three rods in the turret. Out of the box, mine had the shortest rod not screwed in far enough to allow for max. depth.
