Newbie for the cms system, like it a lot but not always perfect.

Before I am posting this, I did quite a lot research on the web, still not very clear so please help.

I have the GE, the ts55 R insert, after first time using the ts55 insert, just find out the angle gauge fence not perfect 90 degree to the surface. I am trying to adjust it but I cant find any better way.
So I am thinking to the get the new fence for it, like lot people like the Incra LA, but seems like bulky. And looks like LA CS50/CMS it's better option for me.
Do I need extra table for the CS50 fence?
Is there anyone with experience with both?

Much appreciated.

You can adjust the Angle Stop WA using the two bolts on the angle pointer to get it to 90 degrees. See the video mentioned inhttps://www.festoolownersgroup.com/festool-how-to/calibrating-the-angle-stop-(mitre-fence)-on-either-a-precisio-cs70-or-mft3/msg220182/#msg220182

I have both (assuming you meant the Incra LS??). The LS is expensive but you will not find anything more accurate. You will need to figure out a way to mount it that works for you though (I have the Benchdogs Precision Platehttps://precisiondogs.us/products/precision-plate). I've never got on with the LA CS50/CMS although others love it. It just feels clunky and I'm always checking that it's locked at 90 degrees.

You don't *need* the extra table, but you're going to be limited in the width of stock you can cut without it.

Hope this helps.

That will not fix the issue of it not being perpendicular to the surface of the CMS GE. The angle between fence and surface is say 92 degrees. This is regardless of any inaccuracy of it not being square to the blade.
