CMS Safety Shutoff Issue

I have a German version of the CMS. All my tools are US, as is my power. I've attempted to use adapters on the CMS on/off switch plug leads, only feeding the machine US power.

When I do this, the machine only stays on when I hold the ON button, but shuts off as soon as I let go. My workaround has been plugging the tool directly into the wall, but I'm feeling motivated to fix this.

Do I HAVE to buy a new CMS switch? Can I modify/disable some feature on the stock switch? Are there safety features in play about which I'm not aware? Any feedback is encouraged. Thanks!

I had the same issue, I ended up buying a whole new 120v switch from Festool for the US CM-VL router table in on the EKAT.  I did order just the switching element (US 120v) and tried to retrofit it, but the switch still did not work.
