Hey everyone,
I have had a few posts hinting around at some shop organization and finished this up this weekend.
I have a CMS-VL and wanted a place to put all of my bits and pieces. I made this out of Dynasty Birch plywood and it was great for this effort... Good enough, but not great (thin veneer, more than a few voids). I started by getting the parts cut then on to routing out some dados in the sides. OF 1400 made quick work of this. Just a quick note, if you have the KM-1 it makes for easy work here. I also used my Precision Dogs Parallel Guides and the combo worked great!
I had some hardwood runners I put in for the sliding shelves so made sure they were going to fit right!
I used 6mm dominos throughout and rabbets for all of the panels. Since this was a shop cabinet, I cut the rabbets, put it all together (dry) and then cut the dominos 30mm deep.
Glued it up, including the dominos
Installed the hardwood runners, flush cut the dominos, and sanded it all up. Ready to install!
