CMS switch problem -SOLVED

Was using my OF1400 in CMS this morning.  Unplugged and took the router right out of the table as I had to switch bits and collet size.  Put router back into table.  Router won't switch on now.  Checked that trigger was depressed and locked, plugit was tight, all plugs were plugged in appropriately.  Took all apart and plugged router in separately to CT and works fine.  Plugged CMS switch back in, plugged router back in, manually depressed router trigger and pressed CMS switch - nothing.

Is there a fuse or something on the CMS switch or am I missing something simple or.....?

Looking for trouble shooting suggestions.  Thanks

SOLVED - well, kind of.... used freehand then switched out collet and bit and figured I'd try to trouble shoot again so reassembled CMC setup.  Worked - no clue what was wrong though.

CT was set to Auto.  I think Don is onto something in that the spindle lock may have been stuck... I'm thinking that had to be it.  Thanks.

cory , do you actually have to take the router out of the table to change the collet? can you not do over the table changes?

just curious.

I change bits and collets with the routers in the table.

I also discovered I do not have to move the main body of the fence to change the bit or collet.

Get one of these. I don't think the link is to the right size, but trying to do this under a hut in the rain at a very boring BBQ.
