CMS TS75/TS55 angle fence question

I have been using my CMS TS75 module for quite some time now and think it's great and saves time and does a perfect job.
Ever since I got it I wonder were the angle thing is for on the fence?
It is impossible to cut with an angle, right?
I am thinking about it for days now, is it a stupid question, do I miss anything here?

Is the angle thing already for hooking up with the optional sliding table?
Anyways, confusing days these past days  [unsure]

Yes Mikkla, you need the sliding table to do cross cuts and angled cuts with the CMS.
