Can a cms-ge be converted to a vl? Or otherwise modified to attach to a mft? A ge came up for sale locally but I have way more use for a table on the side of my mft than another stand alone table in my shop.

So the difference is more than just one side rail that connects to the mft and different legs?

Unfortunate that I’m too far from a dealer who has both on display to check if adaption, ordering a few parts might work.

Judging from what I see on EKAT it looks like they are two completely different table frame formats. However you may be able to join them using frame connectors the way one would join two MFTs together.

The tables and extrusions are completely different.

Here is my attempt at making the two work together.  But you can see the differences.

The only thing they have in common is the drop-in tool insert.  The frames are completely different.  The GE will not mate up with the MFT without a custom link such as the one shown by [member=8008]tjskinny[/member].

The VE is a different size to fit the end of an MFT.
The GE dose not have the t-slot below the v-channel to mate up with the MFT for easy attachment.

If you get the plastic clip from the MW1000 extension table.  Mount it to the MFT and then you can hook the CMS onto it to hold them together.  It will not clip in like its supposed to but holds reasonably well or can be clamped with a bit of ingenuity.

Sorry but I don't have any pictures.
