Hey guys, I am working on another workbench and I'm wondering if anyone has gone to the trouble of creating a CNC file for creating a systainer drawer with routed areas for the feet like this:

Would be easy enough to do obviously, but just thought I'd check to see if anyone has done it...

I'd be interested too.  But so far I'm going the lazy way and using a hole saw for the foot cutouts. Plus I've contacted 3 local cnc router shops and have not heard back from any of them in regards to sys shelves and mft style tops

Hi [member=63929]AtomicRyan[/member]

I don't have 'CNC' files yet, in fact I'm thinking I'm just about to order a CNC so I can look at creating this items for myself and for the community.  I've played around some with a Shaper Origin and I recall seeing various Festool and Systainer posts on their community site.  Below is a link to a project, with SVG file, that someone used with the Shaper Origin to create what I think you are looking for.  I imagine taking the SVG and importing to generate the tool path/gcode should be quick work.

Ryan -

If you don't have a Shaper and thus forum access, the SVG file is attached.

FOG won't support SVG file attachments so it's in a ZIP format.

Systainer-Store - good find!  I had seen it in the past there and glad to have it now.

Right on. Thank you sir...

I will run this as well as the one I made and see which fits best. Once done, I'll report back and post mine made for two deep systainers.

I have one that does it, and even bevels the sides as well. Will get it to you once I figure out how to renew my Fusion 360 sub... they really screwed it up.

AtomicRyan,

Can you post your two deep file? I would be interested in looking at it.
