Hi All,

Does anyone have, or have a pointer, to a CNC template to cut out Kaizen foam inserts for Systainers?

Hi Ben - you may want to check the files linked on this thread:  http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-and-tanos-systainers/systainer-files/. It reads like it is a good start to getting you cutting templates on a CNC.

For those who don't have the capability or want to cut their own Kaizen inserts, I can recommend KaizenInserts.com as a source for ready to fit inserts for the Systainer boxes.  I'm not affiliated with KaizenInserts, just a happy repeat customer.  I bought inserts for my Sortimo L-Boxx cases, and they fit perfectly.

I too have bought some items from KaizenInserts and though the item was good.

On InstagramI follow Loxaco and he has a shop with a couple systainer inserts.  I've got the router bit version to try and recommend it. https://loxaco.com

Yes I am considering KaizenInserts, three of them cost about the same as a sheet that will make four. I think that's actually a pretty reasonable markup so I might go down that route.

However if I do decide to use my CNC to cut out the tool holes then I might as well cut the hole piece... we'll see

I have one in Fusion 360 and IIRC I cut and tested it to. If I haven't remembered to find and post it for you in a couple days ping me so I'll remember. Tired on a Sunday already!

Fusion3D would be great. I've been meaning to switch to it
