Collins Coping Foot

Somehow this information slipped buy me. : I just found out that the Collins Coping Foot will fit on the Festool jigsaw but not on the Bosch 1590 or 1591.

You have to spec the Festool saw when ordering or take a hacksaw to your old coping foot. I am selling off my old Bosch with the POS plastic tightening lever on top and getting a new coping foot.

Maybe this info will help someone making a decision between the Bosch and Festool.

I have the coping foot for the Festool.  I have to look at it, but the only difference is a slight notch that they cut into it.  You could just modify the coping foot that you have.  Talk to the manufacturer, I am sure that they will tell you how to do it.
