Colored mini-systainers

They look good and, if we had them here in Cabana, I would certainly purchase some.  Lee Valley carries a good stock Tanos products but they seem to avoid items in the Tanos line that they regard as frills (such as colour).

I'm not sure what you mean.  As far as I can tell from their web site, Lee Valley only sells white Tanos systainers with blue latches.  I have an anthracite systainer but I did not purchase it from Lee Valley.

I'm confusing them with woodcraft/mysystainer. They've reduced  it to anthrocite except for the attic boxes.

Hi Frank -

It's not that colours are "frills", but that the order minimums for colours are really high....

We are sticking with the grey/blue "classic" colors, and black/yellow for the Veritas items we are packaging. We do have Black/yellow in Mini, Sys 1 (out at the moment), Sys 2 (in stock), Sys 3 (also in stock)....

Cheers -

Rob

Thanks Rob, I grew up over my Dad's hardware store so I understand very well the juggling act that merchants go through with ordering merchandise that will sell in a reasonable amount of time and not clog up the warehouse.

But, I don't see any place on your web site to order the black and yellow variation of these Tanos systainers.

No - they're not on the website yet....

We just "consumed" all we had of the sys-1's for the MFT kits....and as it's the most popular size, we're going to wait until it's in stock before putting on the web. For the mini's, we will still be offering the $19.50 price on the grey/blue when those are back in stock (due at the end of the month), so didn't want to list the black/yellow at $26.00 .....

Prices for the sys1-3 are currently $1 more than the grey/blue versions:

Sys-1 is 68K4601
Sys-2 is 68K4602
Sys-3 is 68K4603

All in our main warehouse, so can be mail-ordered, or shipped to a store for pick-up. Store staff are not likely to know we have them, but can find them on the system with the product numbers given above...

Cheers -

Rob

Thanks Rob.  I will order a sys-3.

And, I will certainly purchase an MFT kit when it is announced.

Hi Rob,

Am I correct that the black/yellow Minis will be the 'classic' style (this is OK in my book)?  Makes sense they're $26, which is $1 more than the current Classic Mini price.

Or will they be yellow/black?  [eek]

Also curious if you have any plans to stock the taller Mini's at some point in the future (in light grey assumedly).  Probably a lot of people aren't familiar with Mini-IIs, but they are SO much more useful than the regular mini's.  That extra height makes all the difference.

Hi -

The Black/yellow Minis we have are all T-loc. Have not seen the taller Minis yet but will certainly chase that down!

Hi -

Tracked these down... the taller Mini's were only offered in the classic line - not the T-loc. It's unclear if they plan to re-visit it.

There is a new size of Midi coming though.... same depth as a sys-2 .....

Cheers -

Rob
