I had this idea to build my self a compact desk to accommodate tight spaces but I have been putting it off. Last weekend though, I decided to finally start on it after wondering what to do with a mixed batch of lumber I had sitting around for a while.
This project is to be of made of hard wood paint grade lumber which are, African mahogany, German beech, white birch, and ash. my plans (the ones in my head) call for a pullout tray for the PC tower, two upper drawers and doors for the front and back of the PC pullout area.
Although my plans call for all structural membranes to be made with the available 3/4 thick lumber I have at hand the desk will be quite rigid after is is completed partly do to my planed use of 1/2" appleply hardwood plywood for paneling
