I looked at the listing, he really seems to be selling about $6,700.00 worth of festool for $5,000

Shame I already own most of that - purchased at full retail.

More of a shame I don't have $5,000 in my pocket, I could keep the stuff I don't have and sell the rest.

If purchased at '07 (or previous) pricing, he's actually about break even IMO.

Shane, that the beauty of Festool, use the tool for a few years, the resell them for what you paid.  ;D

Tom, if he is 20 minutes for your house you might very well be able to score a near-free (or at least steeply discounted) Domino for a little bit of work.  Front the 5-large and buy the lot and piece it out.  Between here, flea-bay, CL, and other forums I think there is enough of a market that it is almost a risk-free proposition for you.

And don't forget that Festool USA now extends the warranty to the owner of the tool rather than the original purchaser.

He says why.  What he says is that he has moved and no longer has the space.

I think that this is a good deal and wish that such an offer were on the table three or four years ago when I made most of my Festool purchases.

I live fairly close to the guy selling things (Rick).  I contacted him and agreed to buy
all the big things so he is left with a lot of things that could be potentially shipped.
He is a great guy and the equipment is in great condition.  I just wish I met him
sooner. 

If you have been pondering something I would recommend jumping on it.

He needs to amend his ad then if he's now thinking of selling and shipping and also to show whats left after your purchase.
