Hey all,

This is more a question for Festool and their dealers so I'm posting in this area, let me know if there's a better place.

I'm in the market for a TSC 55 K cordless saw. Ideally I would purchase the "KEBI-F-Plus-FS" set which includes two batteries, a charger and a 1400mm track, but I can only find stock of the "KEB-F-BASIC" set in the US (which doesn't include any of those items).

I can purchase the items separately to complete the "KEBI-F-Plus-FS" set, but that would cost $180 extra at list. Does Festool let dealers "make up" a full set from available stock and price accordingly?

[member=76805]niallsmart[/member], good question. Unfortunately, the answer is no. That would be considered discounting, which is prohibited.

ETA - This is assuming you're in the U.S. I'm not familiar with policies in other countries.

I think someone did the math recently and figured out that a TSC 55 K-Basic with the Energy Set (4 batteries and a charger) was a pretty reasonable value for the dollar until the TSC 55 K Sets were back in stock.  That doesn't include the rail, of course, so YMMV.

That's exactly what I did...well worth the additional $100 over the K Set pricing.

I bought the Energy Set with the intention of getting the TSC 55 K, and possibly one or more drills; but actually don't need the drills as I have a pair of Makitas. I didn't know that the TSC 55 K sets were in short supply. Maybe I lucked out.
Of course, I could still win Shane's sweepstakes!

If you're wanting an Energy Set, you may want to pull the trigger now. We've sold out of them and Festool is out of them too.

And, good luck [member=1170]Stan Tillinghast[/member] in the sweepstakes!
