connecting two hoses

Connecting Festool Hoses

You can also purchase one of the new flexible hoses.  The large end of the new hoses is designed to accept the tool end of at least the 27mm hoses.  IMO that feature alone makes it worth purchasing one of the new hoses.

Thanks. Damn, that really sucks, I think it means the hose attached to my ct needs to have both ends setup as rotating connectors and I only want to extend the hose now and then. I think it means I have to connect both hoses permanently because the hose attached to the ct will no longer connect to my festools.

The extra hose was thrown in on a used festool buy.

Glad I came across your post. Thanks! I've been putting off ordering extra parts to connect my old midi hose to the new design hose for months. I called Festool today and they told me I needed this part to do it:https://festools-online.com/500672-festool-reducing-rot-adapter-d-32-27-dag-as-ct.html Not sure why?

Here's a photo of mine connected without any additional parts or $.
