Contro KA 65 Edgebander

Hey Everyone,

So, I just got  the Conturo banding machine.  It's a fantastic machine for the small cabinet shop, but, within 2 days and 45 parts edgebanded, the machine has stopped applying glue to the edgebanding.  Glue still exits and is pushed through the machine but when the edgebanding enters and begins to be pulled through by the roller, the glue seems to slide right off.  Not even binding edgebanding.  You can literally watch the glue get pushed aside by the edgebanding.

I'm not sure what the problem is but I'll be calling festool tomorrow and just signed in on this forum today and was hoping for feedback from all of you Festool users.

If you know anything or have any suggestions, they would help immensely.

I've had my Conturo over a year. Only slide issue for me is---me, sometimes I'll drag the banding at the beginning of the application.

Any material change? Different banding?

I'd try increasing the temp of the unit.

Try purging the machine,  same thing happened to me too. FWIW, running around 190°-200° and slower speeds gives me better application.
