Convert kapex extensions to metric?

I found a dealer in Canada that has a stock of the new Kapex KS 120REB with ugcart and extension wings in stock.  They are selling it at the promo bundle price.  The kapex extension wings are imperial.

What’s the best way to convert the measurement tape to metric?  (If he is unwilling to swap for a set of metric extensions).

Does anyone in Vancouver, BC own a set of metric extensions and want to swap tapes?

I know my Starret adhesive rule is roughly the same width as the Festool rule but am not sure if it’s a simple peel and stick operation to change.  Presumably some of the FastCap rule is the same width.

FWIW - The main extension 284mm through 1480mm and the slide out extension is 1480mm through 2400mm.  They're printed in opposite directions so you’d want to confirm the replacement tape is available in both directions.

Or, perhaps Festool sells the replacement tape?

The extensions total 2400mm on each side, 1400mm on the primary extension plus another 1000mm on the pull-out extension on each side, so you have four separate scales to deal with.  I assume these are contact adhesive retained.

Do the Kapex in N.A. come with metric extensions (I know some items festool still sells both), or is this something else that is inch only now?  If the later, maybe you could find an imperialist that wants to "upgrade" their metric wings and do a parts swap.

I just got mine and ordered Metric so they’re definitely available in Metric in NA.

Festool does sell replacement scales.

I believe they are all metric, best to check with Festool first.

Starrett also sells a couple of 12' English/Metric tapes.
