No, it's a little misleading, the dates in the video refer to corporate restructuring dates and logo rebranding, Festo, TTS, blue to green, Festo to Festool etc.

I'm very interested in WW2 too, beside woodworking. Does somebody knows what happened to the company? Most German companies have erased the 1939-45 period from their history on the company-websites. Some German companies were forced to switch to war production but some were quite eager to join. As an example, in Holland some building companies made big bucks with building bunkers. And some are still in operation today but there is no mention of it in their company-history.
I'm very curious about Festo, just for historical reasons. Because portable tools would be very handy in makeshift workshops, I'm sure Festo tools could be found in the fields.
Is there anybody who can point me to information regarding this periode?

The video is official but it's a video, which can be edited. Ever notice the TS saw in the FOG header is backwards? Yup. Been there for years. The photo was flipped. There's no new TS that runs on the other side of the rail. Geez.  [blink]
